We begin harvesting our alfalfa hay in April and continue through October.
We do all of our own harvesting. Our hay is first cut, then raked into
windrows and baled. As of now, we do only small bales, no big bales.
Our alfalfa is sold to local dairy farmers, horse ranches, and feed stores.
We store some hay in barns over the off season to sell and deliver during the
winter months.
